A week after receiving it from Amazon.com, I viewed the same unit on sale for a lower price at Sears and compared it to several other competitor hdtv units while I was there. I thought the 1080 resolution would make it outperform, however, I would have purchased a 720 LG or Samsung, had I viewed them prior to ordering it online. The setup routine/menu was more complicated than it needed to be. The service and delivery through Amazon.com was excellent! I was disappointed with the over-all quality and price on this hdtv. The colors are vibrant, fantastic preset picture selections for gaming, cinema watching like Netflix (using PS3/Wii), or using custom settings for night time viewing. It is energy star compliant too. Plenty of inputs 3 HDMI's, computer, SD card, etc. The menus are simple to use.
